However, unless negligence is established on our part, we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to the data you provided through this website.

On rare occasions, automated confirmation emails may be filtered by your email provider’s spam or junk settings. If you do not receive confirmation of your order shortly after placing it, please check your spam folder or contact us directly.

You may reach us at info@neldiart.com or by calling +357 97797670 to confirm your order or request alternate verification.

Product Display & Marketing Use

We reserve the right to photograph, publish, and share images of completed products created for customer orders across our website and social media platforms, including unique or custom designs. We will not publish photos of time-sensitive personalised items (such as wedding or anniversary gifts) until the relevant date has passed to protect your surprise or event.

All products manufactured by N & D Artworks LTD are branded discreetly with our logo.

Proof of Engraving and Design Previews

Neldi Art Gallery offers a complimentary preview service for personalised engraving and custom artwork. This service must be explicitly requested at the time of order. Orders placed via our website, or through any affiliated platform or retail partner, will proceed directly to production unless a preview has been requested in advance.

To request a preview, please indicate your request in the ‘Notes’ section during checkout, or contact us on the same day your order is placed via email at info@neldiart.com or by telephone at +357 97797670.

When requested, a 3D rendering or design proof will be emailed to you for review prior to engraving or carving. While awaiting your approval, we may begin preliminary preparation of your selected timber or materials. Accordingly, please note that once a preview has been requested and work has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled.

Important: Proofs can increase the production time of your order by 2–3 additional business days.

Once your preview has been received, you must provide written approval by email. If changes are required, you may reply by email or contact us by phone. A revised preview will be sent for further approval. Please note that revisions may extend production timelines.

Changes to Orders

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy of all personalisation details submitted at the time of purchase. If you notice an error or wish to amend your engraving or customisation, you must notify us within 24 hours of placing your order. After this time, changes may not be possible.

If production has already begun and changes are still required, we may, in some cases, be able to alter or re-engrave the item. However, this will incur an additional charge, which will be communicated to you before proceeding.

Please do not rely solely on email for order amendments, as delivery and receipt of electronic messages cannot be guaranteed. Phone confirmation is strongly recommended to ensure your request is received and acknowledged.

As all items are handcrafted to order and personalised, they cannot be refunded once production has begun. For delivery address changes or other order details requiring immediate attention, please contact us as soon as possible. If your order has already been dispatched, a courier redirect may be possible, but any associated fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

Customer Notes at Checkout

Please note that the ‘Customer Notes’ field at checkout is not intended for delivery date requests. All requests regarding delivery scheduling must be submitted separately by email or telephone and preferably prior to placing an order. Requests left in the notes field alone are not guaranteed to be seen or fulfilled in time.

Design Proof Policy for Bespoke Orders

Customers who place bespoke or highly personalised orders may request a detailed proof of the design before production. This service is available free of charge and includes digital visual previews of the artwork.

Design proofs are typically completed within 2–5 working days, depending on the complexity of the request. Once the proof is sent, you may suggest edits. Revised proofs will then be returned for your approval. Edits may add an additional 1–3 business days to your order timeline, depending on the nature of the revisions.

You may request multiple revisions until the final design is approved. However, once a proof is approved, no further changes can be made, and manufacturing will proceed immediately.

If you choose to cancel your order after a proof has been produced, but before production has begun, we can issue a refund minus a 20% design fee, which reflects the time and resources spent on custom design work.

Timber Disclaimer & Aftercare Policy

At N & D Artworks LTD, we take pride in our use of natural timber in the creation of all Neldi Art Gallery products. However, it is important for all customers to understand the inherent characteristics of solid wood. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following:

Natural Material Characteristics

Wood is a natural, organic material and as such, no two pieces are ever identical. Our team carefully selects and hand-finishes each item to achieve a consistently high standard. However, colour variation, grain patterns, and natural imperfections such as small knots, fine hairline cracks (“shakes”), and tonal irregularities may occur. These are not defects—they are features that form part of the natural aesthetic and individuality of the timber.

We take every reasonable measure to remove material flaws that could affect the function or structure of a piece. However, complete removal of all natural markings would strip the wood of its authenticity and character. The presence of such natural elements is not a basis for complaint, refund, or replacement.

While our timber is responsibly dried and prepared, movement in solid wood—such as minor cracks, cupping, or shrinkage—may occur post-delivery as it adjusts to new environments. These changes are to be expected and are not indicative of a flaw or failure in the product. They are especially common during seasonal humidity shifts and as the item settles into your space. We do not accept returns based on such natural movement.

Installation Environment

Timber is highly responsive to environmental conditions and will absorb moisture from the air. It is your responsibility as the customer to evaluate the suitability of the intended location for your Neldi Art product. We do not recommend placing untreated timber products on painted or polished surfaces, as oil transfer or staining may occur.

All of our wooden items, unless otherwise stated, are finished with superior quality linseed Oil. Some oil transference is possible, especially in the early weeks. If your product will be placed in contact with delicate surfaces, we strongly advise the use of protective barriers or pads. N & D Artworks LTD shall not be held liable for any marks, stains, or damage resulting from oil contact.

Customers should not expect uniformity in engraving spacing or alignment, as our processes account for the natural form of each piece of wood. Slight variations in letter spacing or alignment are normal and do not constitute grounds for return.

Product Safety & Responsibility

All products are sanded and finished by hand to eliminate splinters and rough edges. However, we recommend you inspect the item upon receipt and before installation. We cannot accept liability for injuries caused by mishandling, improper storage, or failure to check the product before use.

Once your item leaves our studio, it may pass through various climates before reaching its final destination. Environmental stress can cause small changes such as cracking, swelling, or slight warping. This is not a fault, but a natural adjustment period as your product settles into its new environment.

Customers accept that it is their sole responsibility to handle and maintain their product correctly. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in damage, for which N & D Artworks LTD accepts no liability.

Kitchenware – Oiling and Maintenance

For kitchen items such as chopping boards and serving platters, we use 100% food-safe olive oil. To preserve the integrity and appearance of your board, we recommend frequent oil treatments. For carving boards, draining boards, or any item exposed to significant moisture, reapplication may be necessary after every use.

If you require further guidance, our team is available via info@neldiart.com or phone at +357 97797670 to assist you with maintenance questions.

Live Edge Chopping Boards & Signs – Disclaimer & Care Information

At N & D Artworks LTD, we take great care in crafting our Live Edge Chopping Boards and Rustic Wooden Signs. These items are strictly made to order and are non-returnable and non-refundable unless a manufacturing fault is present. By purchasing one of these products from Neldi Art Gallery, the customer acknowledges and accepts the unique and variable nature of this product line.

Product Characteristics

Our Live Edge range is made from a single slab of solid wood, incorporating the natural “waney edge” (also known as live edge or natural edge) of the timber. This raw, rustic edge gives each board or sign its character and uniqueness. As a result, each item will differ slightly from the stated website dimensions, particularly in width and contour, due to the organic curvature and irregularity of the live edge.

Live edge pieces may exhibit:

  • Slightly rougher textures along the edge, which we hand-sand for safety while retaining the rustic feel.
  • Natural voids or holes, including traces of previous woodworm activity (fully treated and non-active).
  • Variations in edge structure, ranging from angled and irregular to flatter or slanted forms, depending on where in the tree the piece was cut.

If you have a preference regarding the nature of the edge, such as straighter or more dramatic curves, we welcome special requests at the time of ordering, and we will accommodate them as best we can based on available stock. However, no guarantees can be made for the precise shape or grain direction of the live edge.

Epoxy Resin Notice

Some of our handcrafted products feature decorative or functional elements made with epoxy resin, carefully applied by hand to enhance the design and character of each piece.

As with all handmade resin work, please be aware of the following natural characteristics:

  • Minor Imperfections: Small bubbles or tiny surface irregularities may occasionally be visible within the resin. These do not affect the quality or durability of the product and are considered part of the charm of handmade craftsmanship.
  • Color Changes Over Time: Epoxy resin can develop a yellowish tint over time, particularly when exposed to direct sunlight or high UV levels. To help preserve the clarity and color of your item, we recommend keeping it out of prolonged direct sunlight whenever possible.

We always aim for the highest quality in both materials and technique, but due to the nature of resin and its sensitivity to light and temperature, these characteristics are not considered defects.

Made-to-Order Production

All of our pieces are crafted to order, following a production schedule based on current workload. We strive to meet all quoted timeframes, but delays may occur during busy periods or if specific timber is unavailable. All listed sizes are approximate, and minor deviations are to be expected due to the working nature of wood.

In certain cases, natural flaws in timber—such as knots, cracks, or density shifts—may only become visible during the manufacturing process. These are considered part of the charm and uniqueness of real wood. If any such natural inconsistencies are uncovered, we will assess them case by case and may offer remedial work or a product revision. N & D Artworks LTD cannot be held liable for flaws inherent in the timber itself.

We reserve the right to revise prices, product descriptions, and delivery details at any time. If a pricing error occurs during listing, we may cancel or refuse an order before dispatch and will notify you of any changes.

If delivery or collection of your product is delayed due to customer action, all risk and responsibility for the product lies with the customer. While we will make every reasonable effort to store the item safely, we cannot guarantee the stability of wood in changing environmental conditions. Any movement, cracking, or warping of timber during extended storage is not the responsibility of N & D Artworks LTD. We do not operate controlled climate storage facilities.

Size & Stability

All measurements listed on the product page are approximate, particularly the width of our larger boards:

These boards are made from a single slab, which increases the risk of natural movement post-production, including warping, cupping, or minor splitting. This is not a defect but a characteristic of solid timber adjusting to its environment. Minor splits, if present at the time of manufacture, will be filled with a timber-toned wax. For any splitting or movement that occurs after delivery, we provide a care guide with instructions on how to fill and maintain the board. Customers may also contact us directly at info@neldiart.com or via +357 97797670 for support.

Outdoor Use & Maintenance

The live edge portion of the board is typically softer, more porous, and less stable than the inner heartwood. If exposed to outdoor environments, this part of the board will weather and deteriorate more quickly unless protected.

To maximise the lifespan of your Live Edge board or sign, we strongly recommend:

  • Frequent oiling, especially after exposure to moisture.
  • Never wash them in a dishwasher

Please note that sealing the live edge is challenging due to its porous structure, and accelerated weathering is to be expected in outdoor settings. The customer is responsible for maintaining the item in accordance with our care instructions. N & D Artworks LTD cannot be held responsible for deterioration caused by lack of maintenance, weather exposure, or unsuitable placement.

If bark is present on the board upon arrival, it is likely to shed naturally over time. This does not constitute a defect and is not grounds for return.

Product Information & Manufacturing Terms

At N & D Artworks LTD, all of our products are handmade to order, and availability is subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify, withdraw, or update any product, product description, or website content at any time. While we make every effort to ensure product information is accurate and up to date, errors may occur. In the event of an error in pricing, specifications, or description, we will contact you promptly before dispatching your order, allowing you the option to either cancel for a full refund or proceed with the revised details.

Product Images & Variations

Photographs on neldiart.com, as well as any promotional or printed media, are intended to accurately represent our products, but slight variations may occur. Colour accuracy can be affected by screen calibration, lighting, and the inherent variability of natural materials such as wood. Dimensions are approximate due to the handmade nature of our items and the variability in timber grain and density.

Custom and bespoke products may differ from display images. All Neldi Art Gallery products are individually crafted by hand, and variations in timber grain, tone, size, engraving layout, and finish are not considered faults. Due to the personalisation and made-to-order nature of these items, they are non-refundable, except where a proven manufacturing fault has occurred. In such rare cases, we will offer a replacement or a full refund at our discretion.

If you are ordering multiple pieces intended to match—such as a set of signs, wall plaques, or chopping boards—we strongly recommend placing the entire order at the same time. While we will make every effort to keep items uniform, handmade production and natural wood variations may result in slight differences between products, even when ordered together.

Please Note: Each Splash Art Portrait is 100% Unique

At Neldi Art Gallery, every Custom Splash Art Portrait is a randomly generated, one-of-a-kind creation. Our process blends your chosen photo with dynamic digital painting techniques and layered splash effects, producing a final result that is always visually unique — and likely impossible to recreate exactly the same way again.

Key things to know before placing your order:

  • Completely Unique & Random: The splash effects, colors, and layout of each portrait are generated in a way that cannot be precisely repeated. Even if we were to use the same photo again, the outcome would be noticeably different. This is the beauty and spirit of Splash Art — your piece is truly one of a kind.
  • Natural Wooden Texture: All portraits are printed on high-quality oak-coated MDF. This material has its own wood grain and tone, which adds texture and warmth to the print but also affects how colors appear.
  • Color Variation: Please expect color differences between what you see on your screen and the finished artwork. The natural wood surface combined with print ink, lighting, and screen settings all play a role in how your portrait will look in real life.
  • No Previews Provided: Due to the random artistic generation process, we do not offer previews or digital mockups before printing.
  • Non-Refundable: These are custom-made artworks created just for you. For that reason, orders are non-refundable unless found to be faulty.

Your Splash Art Portrait is not just a print — it’s a singular artistic expression, handcrafted using your photo as the starting point. Perfectly imperfect, naturally unpredictable, and truly personal.

Timber Composition & Construction

Timber is a living material, and its behaviour during cutting, sanding, and assembly may vary significantly. Our products are crafted using high-grade hardwoods, and every effort is made to ensure stability and strength. However:

  • Grain width, plank thickness, stave dimensions, and wood tone may vary between items.
  • In some cases, heavy sanding may reduce the final thickness of a product to achieve a smoother surface or enhanced appearance. This is not considered a defect.
Branding

Unless otherwise stated, all Neldi Art Gallery products carry our branded mark or logo. This serves as a symbol of authenticity and the handmade quality of our work.

Quotes, Dimensions & Order Confirmations

At N & D Artworks LTD, we take great care in interpreting all customer-supplied figures, sketches, reference diagrams, or verbal instructions when preparing quotes for custom orders. However, due to the subjective nature of communication and the variation in specifications, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy of interpretations, nor be held liable if those interpretations are later found to be inconsistent with your expectations or requirements.

It is entirely the customer’s responsibility to verify that the dimensions, shapes, styles, proportions, and any additional specifications noted in our quote or correspondence accurately reflect their needs. All dimensions will be stated in millimetres (mm), centimetres (cm), or inches, and the units will be clearly specified. In the case of conversions between metric and imperial units, or when approximations have been made based on customer input, it remains the customer’s duty to review and verify the accuracy of all such measurements—even where originally supplied by our team. N & D Artworks LTD assumes no responsibility for validating or checking customer-supplied measurements, conversions, or technical diagrams.

All illustrations, descriptions, measurements, and weights provided in our website listings or printed literature are intended as guidance only and shall not be considered legally binding. Due to the handmade nature of our items and the organic character of timber, minor variances in shape, finish, or measurement are to be expected.

We reserve the right—without notice and without affecting the validity of your order contract—to make such reasonable adjustments in design, dimensions, or materials as may be required due to stock availability, supplier changes, or technical improvements.

Due to natural variations in wood and limitations in digital image reproduction, color consistency and visual accuracy of the product as displayed on your screen cannot be guaranteed. Product images, samples, and online previews are to be treated as approximations only.

Liability for Third-Party Items

Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss incurred:

  • During transit to or from our premises;
  • While in storage awaiting engraving or restoration;
  • Or as a result of the engraving or restoration process itself.

All third-party items are sent at the customer’s own risk, and customers are advised to use secure packaging and insured delivery methods when shipping items to us.

We make every effort to treat all customer property with the highest level of care, but due to the nature of manual engraving and hand restoration, some level of risk is always present and must be accepted by the customer upon engaging our services.

Stock Shortages

In the event that an item is out of stock and your order cannot be fulfilled, N & D Artworks LTD will notify you promptly. You will be given the option to receive a full refund or wait until the item becomes available again.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers issued by Neldi Art Gallery are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be provided. If you make a purchase using a Gift Voucher (in whole or in part) and decide to return the item (in accordance with our Returns Policy), the refunded amount will be issued in the form of an eVoucher. Gift Vouchers must be used before their expiration date, as printed on the voucher. Expired vouchers will be void and non-exchangeable. Lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers cannot be replaced. Please treat them with care as you would with cash.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

Should your order arrive damaged or faulty, you must notify us within 24 hours of receipt by calling +357 97797670 or emailing info@neldiart.com. This time limit is essential, as claims submitted after this period may be declined in line with our couriers’ policies. Parcels must be collected from the delivery address; alternate pickup locations are not allowed per courier terms.

Once contact is made, the goods must be returned within 7 days via recorded and signed-for delivery.

Whenever possible, please use the original packaging. If unavailable, the item must be securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. N & D Artworks LTD is not responsible for damages during return shipping. Return postage is the customer’s responsibility, except in cases where we are at fault.

Upon receipt of the returned item, it will be inspected. If repair is possible, we will restore the item to original condition. If not, a replacement will be sent promptly. Please note that if you have modified the item in any way (e.g., cutting, sanding, oiling), you accept full responsibility, and we cannot accept liability.

Wooden products sold by Neldi Art Gallery are made from natural materials. They require careful maintenance and are sensitive to environmental changes. Do not expose them to excessive moisture, sunlight, or heat sources. Products such as rustic wooden signs may initially leak oil; this is normal and will cease after a short period. Customers are advised to consult a professional if using these products on porous surfaces such as stone.

Items installed outdoors must be maintained regularly to ensure durability. Signs of wear, such as dark staining or roughness, are indicators that oiling is needed. Improper care that leads to damage will not be covered by warranty. Routine wear and tear is not classified as a defect.
